Meet your FCA area director & reps!

Joel Kearney

Area Director

Originally from Connecticut, I studied biology and psychology at Grove City College near Pittsburgh. After serving as a missionary in Brazil, I’m excited to now be a part of the FCA team here in Charleston! Ever since Tee Ball, I’ve loved playing sports and being active. I played soccer and basketball in high school and a variety of intramurals in college. I’m a big fan of running, pickleball, hiking, board/card games, music, good food, learning more about God with friends, and just about any adventure. Fun fact: I have a twin brother who also serves as an Area Director in ministry up in New England.

Caitlin Watts

Area Representative

Caitlin Watts is from Rock Hill, SC. She moved to Charleston in 2019 to attend the College of Charleston, where she graduated as a Biology major in 2023. As a student, Caitlin attended and served as a student leader in FCA since it was first re-planted by Will Kendrick.

While Caitlin was not a college athlete, FCA still had an enormous impact on her pursuit of Jesus and provided her with an incredible community on a dark campus. She now has a passion for re-rooting a college student’s identity in Christ and out of performance or achievement, and in equipping them to walk with Jesus the rest of their lives.

Fun fact: Caitlin’s parents met and fell in love through FCA at CofC 30+ years ago. Caitlin and her fiancé also met through FCA at CofC as student leaders her Junior year. Her fiancé, Daniel, was actually the first student saved and baptized in Will’s time leading FCA at CofC. They are now getting married in December!

Marley Hart

Ministry Coordinator

Marley grew up in the Upstate of SC and now lives in Summerville, SC with her husband, Zach, and four children. Marley enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new parks, and reading historical fiction.

Marley was apart of FCA in high school where the Lord provided community and a deeper understanding of what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus. She loves getting to support Joel and Caitlin as they minister to students on campus.
